Update: December 26, 2022. The following film, titled “Out With It”, is the story of my journey through grief following the death of my little brother Wesley in 2019. As I searched for answers and healing, I went on several adventures and enjoyed the company of as many friends as I possibly could. Through it all, I came up with a few distilled thoughts that may help with your own unique journey.

If you enjoyed the film, please consider donating to support mental health awareness and treatment by clicking the banner below. You’ll be taken to a secure website to affirm your financial support. On behalf of my brother’s Foundation, we are thrilled to partner with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a nationwide organization with diverse initiatives to make life better for people who are struggling. 100% of money donated goes directly to NAMI and their operations. The adventures depicted in the film as well as the production costs are personally financed. This project has been a labor of love and should be enjoyed as such. Times are difficult, and I understand there are many worthy causes in need of resources. If there is another cause that resonates more strongly with you, consider donating to them in Wesley’s memory. Drop me a line and let me know about it, and I will count your donation in our tally here. Finally, while financial support is important, the impact of this project’s message of hope could potentially be priceless if delivered to the correct person at the necessary moment. This requires no resource other than your time and willingness to reach out and connect to someone in need. If you feel inspired to do so as a result of this project, then in my eyes (and I’ll wager, in Wesley’s too), it was all worth it.
